What is Aave?
Aave is one of the largest decentralized lending protocols. AAVE holders can stake in the protocol's Safety Module to earn rewards while backstopping the protocol against shortfall events.
How to stake AAVE
- Go to the official Aave site or app linked on this page.
- Connect a wallet holding AAVE and review the current staking or lock-up terms — these are set by the protocol and can change.
- Choose how much AAVE to stake or lock, and for how long, if the protocol asks you to select a lock duration.
- Confirm the transaction. Rewards or voting power are typically calculated based on the amount and duration you commit.
- Track the unlock date if one applies, and note that early exit is often not possible once a lock period is chosen.
StakeRadar is an informational guide only. We don't process transactions, hold funds, or connect to wallets. Use the "Go to official site" button above (or a provider below) to reach a real, official destination and complete staking there, in your own wallet.
Unbonding & lock-up
Unstaking from Aave's Safety Module includes a cooldown window before withdrawal is allowed, followed by a limited withdrawal window — the exact periods are set by Aave governance.
