What is Livepeer?
Livepeer is a decentralized video transcoding network. LPT holders delegate to orchestrators to earn a share of the fees paid by applications that use the network.
How to stake LPT
- Go to the official Livepeer site or app linked on this page.
- Connect a wallet holding LPT and review the current staking or lock-up terms — these are set by the protocol and can change.
- Choose how much LPT to stake or lock, and for how long, if the protocol asks you to select a lock duration.
- Confirm the transaction. Rewards or voting power are typically calculated based on the amount and duration you commit.
- Track the unlock date if one applies, and note that early exit is often not possible once a lock period is chosen.
StakeRadar is an informational guide only. We don't process transactions, hold funds, or connect to wallets. Use the "Go to official site" button above (or a provider below) to reach a real, official destination and complete staking there, in your own wallet.
Unbonding & lock-up
Unbonding LPT has a multi-round waiting period, roughly a week or more, before it becomes withdrawable.
